Info regarding COVID-19 Pandemic & Resident Admissions
While we live in a world with fear to face people during this pandemic, we treat this concern very seriously. Our facility has now 2 employees and won't accept any employee from outside in order to prevent the virus infection in our house. We have restricted non-essential visitors and allow only visitors such as: medical professionals, family for end of life resident, guardians on official business, Adult Protective Services, Licensers and emergency services personnel. We ask these people to use masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and disinfectant. Even with this pandemic, we are still allowed to perform admissions. Per Multnomah County resources, before admittance we have to perform an initial placement screening, obtain as much information via phone or medical record review as possible. We can use Skype or other video tour technology instead of an in-person tour to tour our house and have a discussion with the resident and the family in order to ensure the potential resident is within our classification and appropriate level of home.
